Class 5 visited the allotment and found lots of rhubarb ready for picking.

They picked what they could carry and brought their harvest back to school.

Class 5 decided to make a crumble topping to go with their rhubarb.

The best bit - the tasting!!

Empty plates all round - Yum Yum!

The children produced cross curricular work from their rhubarb experiences - instruction writing in literacy, data handling in maths (analysing different topping preferences) and science and D.T. (irreversible change in science and cooking in D.T.)
