Maths Week Assembly

On Wednesday afternoon we had an 'end of Maths Week' Assembly.  Each class showed the school how they had achieved the Maths challenge set for them by Mr Riches.

Class 4 had a challenge to  make a pretend brew using bats, newts and spiders.  They had to calculate how many legs were in the brew! I did hear that they managed to turn Mr Riches into a frog!

Class  5 were challenged to  claculate how many first class stamps it would take to cover a table in the class, the floor of the class, the walls of the class and the whole class and what it would cost!

Class 1/2 had a chllenge to show the shortest distance Santa could take on his route around the igloos.
